Blue Guardian payout guide: first payout, split and methods

Blue Guardian pays the first payout 14 days after your first funded trade (7 with an add-on), at 85% on funded evaluation accounts, with a 3% processing fee and a fee refund on the fourth payout.

November 5, 2026

5

This guide explains how Blue Guardian pays its funded traders: when the first payout is due, the 14-day or 7-day cycle, the split on each account type, the payout limits by method and the 3% processing fee. We checked November 2026 against Blue Guardian's help-center rule pages, using the facts in our Blue Guardian review. Blue Guardian runs several models with different rules, and its Guardian Shield rule can cut your split, so read both before you plan a payout.

When is the first payout?

Two conditions must both be met. First, you need the minimum trading days. Second, at least 14 calendar days must have passed since your first trade on the funded account. With the 7-day payout add-on bought at checkout, the wait is 7 days, and Nano accounts run on a 7-day cycle by default.

Instant Standard works differently: payouts are on demand, but you need 5 profitable days (at least 0.5% each) per payout and must pass its 20% consistency rule.

Before any request, you must close all positions, have your balance above the initial balance and have passed KYC through Sumsub. KYC is required before the first payout on funded and instant accounts, so it is worth completing as soon as you are funded.

How often can you withdraw?

Later requests are every 14 days, or every 7 days with the add-on or on Nano, counted from the previous request. Instant Standard stays on demand. Instant Starter is a one-off: it allows a single payout of up to $250, after which the account closes.

On 1 Step Standard and Instant Standard, the 6% trailing floor locks at the starting balance once you are 6% in profit. After that, a 1% buffer of the initial balance must stay in the account after any payout. On $100,000, that is $1,000 you cannot withdraw.

Profit split explained

The split is 85% on funded evaluation accounts (90% with the add-on) and 80% on Instant Standard (90% with the add-on). Instant Starter is fixed at 90%, and Nano accounts offer an optional 100% add-on. Blue Guardian then deducts a 3% processing fee.

Worked example ($100,000 2 Step Standard, funded). You request a payout on $5,000 of profit.

  • At 85%, your share is $5,000 × 0.85 = $4,250.
  • Blue Guardian does not state the base for the 3% fee. If it applies to your share, it is $127.50, leaving $4,122.50.
  • With the 90% add-on, your share would be $4,500, and a 3% fee on that is $135, leaving $4,365.
  • Because $4,250 is above the $1,000 crypto maximum per request, a single request of that size would need to go through Rise.

Guardian Shield effect. If the shield had triggered once on this account, your split would be permanently 50%, and the same $5,000 would give a $2,500 share before the fee. Our profit calculator can run your own figures.

Payout methods and fees

Blue Guardian pays by crypto or through Rise:

  • Crypto: minimum $100, maximum $1,000 per request.
  • Rise: minimum $500, no maximum.

Payouts are processed within 24 business hours, and a 3% processing fee applies. A live KYC or AML check may also be requested during payout review, which can add time.

Rules that can block or reduce a payout

  • Guardian Shield: on funded accounts, if combined floating loss reaches 2% of the account (1% on instant accounts), all trades are closed. The first trigger permanently cuts your split to 50%, and a second breaches the account. On $100,000, 2% is $2,000 of floating loss.
  • Drawdown: 2 Step Standard has a static 8% floor measured on equity; 1 Step and Instant Standard trail 6%. The daily limit is 4% (3% on Instant Standard) and resets at 5pm EST. See static vs trailing drawdown.
  • Consistency: on Instant Standard, no single day can make up 20% or more of the period's profit (15% on $300,000 and $400,000). Breaking it blocks the request but does not breach the account. See prop firm consistency rules.
  • News: on funded accounts, no opening or closing trades within 5 minutes before or after high-impact news or FOMC on affected instruments. Profits from such trades can be removed. Instant Standard accounts bought after 13 November 2025 cannot news trade at all.
  • Prohibited trading: HFT, tick scalping, arbitrage and emulators are banned, trades under 2 minutes may be flagged, and using more than 80% of margin on a trade counts as gambling.
  • Devices and inactivity: sharing devices or VPS servers between traders can lead to closure, and accounts need at least one trade every 30 days.

Step-by-step: how to request a payout

  1. Complete KYC through Sumsub.
  2. Confirm your minimum trading days and that 14 days (or 7) have passed since your first funded trade or last request.
  3. Close all positions and check your balance is above the initial balance, with the 1% buffer on trailing accounts.
  4. Open the payout request and pick crypto or Rise, keeping the minimums and the $1,000 crypto maximum in mind.
  5. Submit and allow up to 24 business hours, plus time for any live KYC or AML check.

Before you request a payout checklist

  • Check your distance from the daily, maximum and Guardian Shield limits with our drawdown calculator.
  • Review trades near red-folder news, since those profits can be removed.
  • Estimate your take-home after the split and 3% fee with the profit calculator.
  • On Instant Standard, check that no day is 20% or more of the period's profit.
  • Track your payout count if you are waiting for the fourth-payout fee refund.
