Funded Trading Plus payout guide: first payout, split and methods

Funded Trading Plus pays Express and Instant accounts from day 1 once in profit, then every 7 days; Classic after 10 days, then every 10. Splits start at 80% and reach 90%.

November 5, 2026

4

This guide explains how Funded Trading Plus (FT+) pays traders on its current programs: 1-Step Express, 2-Step Classic, Instant and Activation accounts. It covers when each can first withdraw, how often, the split, methods and the risk review that can slow a payout. We checked November 2026 against FT+'s help center, using the facts in our Funded Trading Plus review. FT+'s older Premium, Advanced and Experienced programs are now marked as legacy, and this guide does not cover their terms.

When is the first payout?

Timing depends on the program:

  • 1-Step Express and Instant: from day 1 of the funded account once you are in profit, with a $50 minimum.
  • 2-Step Classic: 10 calendar days after the funded account is created, with a minimum of 1% of the account ($1,000 on $100,000).
  • Activation accounts: after 3% profit, with a $50 minimum. Remember the activation fee ($179, $299 or $489 by size) is paid after you pass and must be paid within 60 days.

Instant payouts also require a signed contract and a valid KYC profile. Accounts must be flat when you request.

How often can you withdraw?

Express and Instant accounts can request every 7 days, and Classic accounts every 10 days. These are among the shorter cycles we track, but frequent withdrawals on trailing-drawdown accounts need care.

On Express, Instant and Activation accounts, the 6% drawdown trails the highest balance (equity on Activation) and stops once it reaches the initial balance. On a $50,000 Activation account, the floor starts at $47,000 and locks at $50,000 once equity reaches $53,000. Until it locks, withdrawing profit leaves less room above a floor that has already moved up.

Profit split explained

All programs start at 80%. The split rises to 90% once an account reaches 20% profit in the trader phase, or from the start if you buy the 90% add-on at checkout. On $100,000, 20% profit is $20,000.

Worked example ($100,000 2-Step Classic, funded). After 10 calendar days, you have made $4,000, and your best day was $1,800.

  • The best day is $1,800 ÷ $4,000 = 45% of period profit, inside the funded 50% consistency rule.
  • $4,000 is above the 1% minimum of $1,000.
  • At 80%, you receive $4,000 × 0.80 = $3,200. With the 90% add-on, $3,600.

Activation example. On a $50,000 Activation account, the 3% trigger is $1,500 of profit. At 80%, that first payout would be $1,200. Our profit calculator can run your own figures.

Payout methods and fees

FT+ pays by crypto or Rise. Review and processing take up to 2 business days. If a request is flagged for risk review, it can take 5 to 7 days. Our review does not list method fees, so check the payout screen and your provider before you choose.

We found no refund of the challenge fee after passing or after a payout in FT+'s terms. Consumers have a 14-day cancellation right only if the program has not been used.

Rules that can block or reduce a payout

  • Consistency: on a funded 2-Step Classic, no day may produce more than 50% of profit in the current payout period. Activation funded accounts use 25%, and breaking it only makes the request ineligible. The Express and Instant pages do not list a consistency rule. See prop firm consistency rules.
  • Risk review: reviews are triggered by margin use above set levels (60% on $100,000). FT+ treats heavy margin use around news as a red flag. Its example: one trade through NFP using 90% of margin for about 10 seconds would likely fail review. The terms also prohibit "boom or bust" trading tied to one news event.
  • Daily loss and symbol loss: Express and Classic have a 4% daily limit from the prior day's closed balance, Instant 6% and Activation 3%. Classic also has a 3% loss limit on any one instrument, which is a hard breach.
  • Maximum loss: 8% static on Classic; 6% trailing that locks at the starting balance on Express, Instant and Activation. See static vs trailing drawdown.
  • EAs and copying: allowed but unsupported, and not for arbitrage, grid trading, tick scalping, or copying and hedging across FT+ accounts. Copying other traders can void profits.
  • Weekend holding: Instant trades must be closed by 4:30pm EST on Friday, or the system closes them.
  • Inactivity: every account must open and close at least one trade in each 30-day period.
  • KYC: Instant payouts need a signed contract and valid KYC profile.

Step-by-step: how to request a payout

  1. Check your program's timing: day 1 in profit (Express, Instant), 10 days (Classic) or 3% profit (Activation).
  2. Confirm your best day is within the consistency rule for your account.
  3. Close all positions so the account is flat.
  4. Complete KYC and sign the contract if asked.
  5. Submit the request above the minimum and choose crypto or Rise.
  6. Allow up to 2 business days, or 5 to 7 if your request goes to risk review.

Before you request a payout checklist

  • Check your distance from the daily and trailing limits with our drawdown calculator.
  • Look back for any trade using heavy margin around news, which can trigger review.
  • Estimate your take-home at 80% or 90% with the profit calculator.
  • On Classic, check your best day is no more than 50% of period profit.
  • Make sure KYC and your payout method are ready.
