Prop firms whose payouts run weekly, daily or on demand after the first withdrawal, with each program's first-payout rule, ongoing frequency, split at that frequency and methods, plus the buffers, caps and consistency checks that apply.
This guide explains how Goat Funded Trader (GFT) pays its funded traders: the 14-day cycle, the on-demand first reward on 2 Step GOAT, the 80% split, the caps on early payouts and daily profit, the 3% processing fee and the payout methods. We checked November 2026 against GFT's help center, using the facts in our Goat Funded Trader review. GFT has one of the longest rulebooks we track, and several conduct rules can remove profit at payout, so read the rules section carefully.
Goat Funded Trader payout terms at a glance
| Term | Goat Funded Trader |
|---|---|
| First payout | 14 days from your first trade (most models); 2 Step GOAT on demand at 3% profit over 3+ days, paid at 40% |
| Frequency | Every 14 days |
| Minimum | $100 |
| Caps | First two rewards: lower of 6% of initial balance or $10,000; $3,000 daily profit cap; method limits |
| Profit split | 80%; 100% with add-on |
| Methods | Rise, Skrill, crypto; bank transfer in eight African countries |
| Processing time | Within 2 business days; 3% processing fee |
| Fee refund | With the fourth payout (not Instant Daily) |
When is the first payout?
On most models, payouts run every 14 days counted from your first trade. On the 2 Step GOAT model, you have an extra option: the first reward can be taken on demand once the account has at least 3% profit over 3 or more trading days, with at least 0.5% profit on 3 of those days. That early reward pays only 40%, even if you bought the 100% add-on, so it trades speed for a much smaller share.
Funded accounts also need 3 profitable days per payout, or 4 for accounts bought from 25 July 2026. A profitable day means closing at least one position with net profit of at least 0.5% of the initial balance.
KYC through Veriff or Rise and a signed Trader Agreement are required at your first payout request, not at purchase. Your account name must match your ID and your payout account.
How often can you withdraw?
Rewards are every 14 days. After an on-demand first reward on 2 Step GOAT, later rewards also follow the 14-day cycle. Only one request can be pending at a time, and you must have no open trades when you request.
Profit split explained
The standard split is 80%, with a 100% add-on at checkout. GFT then takes a 3% processing fee after the split. The first two rewards on most accounts are capped at the lower of 6% of the initial balance or $10,000 (4% on some $5,000 accounts).
Worked example ($100,000 2 Step GOAT, funded). One day you make $3,400, and the payout period ends at $6,200 of gross profit.
- The $3,000 daily profit cap removes the $400 above it, so period profit becomes $5,800.
- The first-payout cap is the lower of 6% of $100,000 ($6,000) or $10,000, so $6,000. Your $5,800 is under it.
- At 80%, your share is $5,800 × 0.80 = $4,640.
- The 3% fee is $139.20, so you receive $4,500.80.
On-demand first reward. If instead you took the first reward on demand at exactly 3% profit ($3,000), the 40% share would be $1,200, and after the 3% fee ($36) you would receive $1,164. Our profit calculator can run your own figures.
Payout methods and fees
| Method | Per-payout limit |
|---|---|
| Rise | No limit |
| Skrill | Up to $5,000 |
| Crypto | Up to $3,000 |
| Bank transfer | Up to $10,000; only Kenya, South Africa, Egypt, Nigeria, Côte d'Ivoire, Tanzania, Cameroon and Ghana |
In the example above, $4,500.80 is over the crypto limit, so it would need Rise or Skrill. GFT says rewards are processed within 2 business days and pays a $1,000 bonus if it misses that window, excluding KYC delays. The 3% processing fee applies to every reward.
Rules that can block or reduce a payout
- Daily profit cap: $3,000 per day on funded accounts; anything above is deducted.
- Minimum hold time: profit from trades closed faster than 60 seconds (accounts from 6 October 2026) or 120 seconds (older accounts) is removed at payout, while losses still count.
- News: for trades opened or closed within 5 minutes of a red-folder release, profit is capped at 1% of the initial balance per trade. See prop firm news trading rules.
- Weekend gap trades: trades opened in the last 3 market hours on Friday and closed in the first 3 hours on Monday are reviewed, and on funded accounts their profit is removed.
- Winning vs losing trade: for funded accounts bought from 8 October 2026, your largest winning trade must be at least as large as your largest losing trade.
- Consistency: 2 Step GOAT has none, but instant models do (for example 15% on Instant GOAT). Missing it blocks payouts without a breach. See prop firm consistency rules.
- Drawdown: 2 Step GOAT has a static 10% floor and a 4% daily limit checked at 5pm EST. Breaching either ends the account.
- Conduct: hedging in any form, third-party EAs, VPN, VPS and proxy hosting (from 6 October 2026), martingale and grid systems are banned, and using more than 80% of margin counts as gambling.
- Inactivity: 30 days without a trade breaches the account.
Step-by-step: how to request a payout
- Check that 14 days have passed (or that you meet the 2 Step GOAT on-demand condition) and that you have your profitable days.
- Close all trades and make sure no other request is pending.
- Complete KYC through Veriff or Rise and sign the Trader Agreement if this is your first request.
- Submit the request for at least $100 and check the capped amount shown.
- Choose Rise, Skrill, crypto or (where available) bank transfer within its limit.
- Expect processing within 2 business days.
Before you request a payout checklist
- Check your distance from the daily and static loss limits with our drawdown calculator.
- Review trades for any held under the minimum hold time, near red-folder news or across the weekend gap.
- Check no day exceeded the $3,000 daily profit cap.
- Estimate your take-home after the split and 3% fee with the profit calculator.
- Make sure the name on your payout account matches your ID.
