Apex Trader Funding vs Tradeify

Apex Trader Funding vs Tradeify: intraday or EOD drawdown, payout paths, pricing and what we could verify on each firm's official site.

November 5, 2026

7

Apex Trader Funding and Tradeify are both large futures prop firms with big Trustpilot followings, and both let you trade an end-of-day (EOD) drawdown. The comparison is lopsided on evidence, though. Tradeify publishes a payout article and plan pages we could read, even if some of its figures conflict. For Apex, third-party trackers report that it replaced its evaluations on March 1, 2026, and we could not verify current pricing, rules or payout terms on its official site. Apex figures below are labelled "Reported, unverified" wherever that applies.

Every Apex row marked "Reported, unverified" comes from third-party trackers (Prop Trading Vibes, August 2026, and the PipBack change log) or from an Apex homepage that appears to show legacy terms. Apex's help center would not load during our checks, so treat those figures as a starting point, not as confirmed terms.

FundedTime scores

Apex Trader Funding scores 6.2/10 (#10 in our futures rankings). Tradeify scores 7.0/10 (#9 in our futures rankings). Scores reflect our published methodology, including how much we could verify, and are not a guarantee of results.

Pricing and fees

Both firms now sell evaluations as one-time fees rather than subscriptions, but neither gives a clean official price list. For Apex, Prop Trading Vibes reported in August 2026 one-time prices of $167, $249, $399 and $599 for the intraday 25K to 150K evaluations and $390, $490, $790 and $1,490 for the EOD versions, with a separate activation fee whose amount was not given. The Apex homepage, when we checked, still described monthly charges of $85 (Rithmic) and $105 (Tradovate), which appear to be legacy terms.

Tradeify's own blog says subscriptions ended with its "Tradeify 3.0" update. Its official prices then conflict: homepage cards showed $251 (struck through from $359) as a one-time payment for every size, while the Select page listed $111, $181 and $251 for 50K, 100K and 150K without naming the plan, and labelled the 150K price "per month". The Select page says "No activation fees" but its funded table lists $1,500 and $4,000 on the 150K paths. For both firms, the checkout page is the only reliable price. Neither refunds the fee on passing.

Rules and drawdown

The key difference is drawdown choice. Apex reportedly lets you pick an intraday trailing evaluation (no daily loss limit, floor follows open-profit peaks) or an EOD evaluation (floor moves on closing balance, with a reported daily loss limit of $500 to $2,000 by size). Reported drawdowns are $1,000, $2,000, $3,000 and $4,000, with targets of 6% and no evaluation consistency rule or minimum days.

Tradeify uses EOD trailing drawdown throughout. The Select 150K evaluation has a $9,000 target, a $4,500 drawdown and a three-day minimum, plus a 40% evaluation rule that Tradeify describes two different ways (a share of profitable days on one page, a best-day share of profit on another). Select funded accounts have no consistency rule; Growth funded accounts have a 35% rule. Neither firm's pages say clearly where the trailing floor stops rising on these products. Our guide to static vs trailing drawdown explains why that matters.

Worked example: a 150K account and one reversing trade

Take the largest size on each. Apex 150K (reported): $9,000 target, $4,000 drawdown, so a starting floor of $146,000, and a $2,000 daily loss limit on the EOD version only. Tradeify Select 150K: $9,000 target, $4,500 EOD drawdown, starting floor $145,500.

On day 1 a trade runs to $2,500 of open profit, then reverses and you close for +$500, ending at $150,500.

  • Apex intraday: the floor follows the $152,500 peak to $148,500. Room left: $150,500 − $148,500 = $2,000.
  • Apex EOD: the floor moves on the close to $146,500. Room left: $4,000, but no single day may lose more than $2,000.
  • Tradeify Select: the floor moves on the close to $150,500 − $4,500 = $146,000. Room left: $4,500. The Select 150K page does not state a daily loss limit.

The same day costs an Apex intraday trader half of their room, while an EOD trader at either firm barely notices it. If you scalp with wide intraday swings, that difference outweighs most price gaps.

Payouts

Tradeify's payout article sets a 90/10 split from the first payout on Select, Growth and Lightning. On Select Flex you request after five winning days of $250 (on 150K), each payout capped at 50% of profit and up to $5,000. On Select Daily you can request daily once the balance clears a $3,600 buffer on 150K, capped at $2,500 a day, though the Select page shows $1,250 for the same path. With $8,000 of profit on Select Flex, the maximum request is $4,000, which pays $3,600 at 90%. Payouts go through Rise (or Plane), typically within 24 hours in business hours. KYC with ID and proof of address comes first.

For Apex, third-party reports from August 2026 describe Performance Account payouts after five qualifying days, a $500 minimum, a safety-net balance (for example $52,100 on a 50K), a first-payout cap of $1,000 to $2,500 by size and up to six requests per account. The homepage, likely legacy, says 100% of the first $25,000 and 90% after, twice a month. We could not verify payout methods or timing. See our Apex Trader Funding payout guide and Tradeify payout guide.

Platforms and US access

Tradeify supports Tradovate (with NinjaTrader), WealthCharts, Rithmic, Tradesea and ProjectX, lists a Boca Raton, Florida address and markets to US traders. The Apex homepage lists Rithmic plans with NinjaTrader and Tradovate plans compatible with TradingView, and a tracker mentions WealthCharts. Apex lists its headquarters in Austin, Texas, but we could not verify its rules for US residents or its restricted-country list. Neither firm allows overnight holding on the pages we could read (Apex requires positions closed by 4:59 PM Eastern; Tradeify's close-out rule was unverified).

Who each firm suits

Apex Trader Funding

Traders already familiar with Apex who want to choose between intraday and EOD drawdown, and who will confirm every rule in their dashboard before trading. Its 4.2 Trustpilot score on 21,525 reviews shows a large, mostly satisfied user base.

Tradeify

Traders who want EOD drawdown with a funded account free of consistency rules (Select) and a daily-payout option, and who are willing to check conflicting prices at checkout.

Which should you choose if…

  • …you want daily payouts: Tradeify Select Daily is documented on an official page; Apex's daily withdrawals are reported only for its Apex Live program.
  • …you swing wide intraday: choose an EOD product. Both firms offer one; Tradeify's is the default.
  • …you want rules you can read before you buy: Tradeify, though expect some contradictions. For a fully documented alternative, see Topstep or My Funded Futures.
  • …you hate consistency rules: Tradeify Select funded has none; Apex reportedly applies 50% at payout time.

Bottom line

Tradeify scores 7.0/10 against 6.2/10 for Apex. Neither is fully transparent, but Tradeify at least publishes payout rules on an official page, while most of Apex's current terms come from third parties. If you buy either, screenshot the rules shown at checkout.

FAQ

Is Tradeify or Apex Trader Funding cheaper?

We cannot say for certain. Apex's reported one-time prices ($167 to $1,490) are unverified, and Tradeify's official pages show conflicting prices. Compare the checkout price for the exact plan you want.

Which has an EOD drawdown?

Both. Tradeify uses EOD trailing drawdown on its plans; Apex reportedly offers an EOD evaluation alongside an intraday trailing one.

Does Tradeify have a consistency rule?

Select has a 40% evaluation rule but none once funded. Growth funded accounts have a 35% rule.

Why are Apex figures marked unverified?

Apex's help center would not load and its homepage appeared to show legacy terms, so current pricing, rules and payouts come from third-party reports.
