Prop firms whose payouts run weekly, daily or on demand after the first withdrawal, with each program's first-payout rule, ongoing frequency, split at that frequency and methods, plus the buffers, caps and consistency checks that apply.
Tradeify and Topstep are both US futures prop firms with EOD trailing drawdown and a 90% funded split, so the choice comes down to pricing model, consistency rules and payout mechanics. Topstep publishes detailed, largely consistent rules in its help center. Tradeify's official pages, when we checked in November 2026, showed placeholder text and conflicting prices, which we flag below.

FundedTime scores
Tradeify scores 7.0/10 (#9 in our futures rankings). Topstep scores 8.1/10 (#2 in our futures rankings). Scores reflect our published methodology, including how much we could verify, and are not a guarantee of results.
Pricing and fees
Topstep charges a monthly subscription until you pass: $49, $99 or $199 on the Standard path for 50K, 100K and 150K, plus a $149 activation fee per Express Funded Account (XFA). The No Activation Fee path drops the activation fee for a higher monthly price, though Topstep's landing page and help center list different figures ($85 or $95 for 50K, for example). Resets cost the same as the monthly fee.
Tradeify moved to one-time fees with its "Tradeify 3.0" update. Its homepage cards showed $251 (struck through from $359) as a one-time payment for every size, while the Select page listed $111, $181 and $251 for 50K, 100K and 150K and labelled the 150K price "per month". The Select page says "No activation fees" but its funded table lists $1,500 and $4,000 on the two 150K paths. We have not built a price comparison on numbers that contradict each other; confirm at checkout. Neither firm refunds fees on passing.
Rules and drawdown
On the 150K, the targets match: $9,000 at both. Both use a $4,500 EOD trailing drawdown on that size. Topstep's maximum loss limit trails your end-of-day balance but is enforced in real time, so an intraday dip through the floor still liquidates the account; it stops trailing at the starting balance. Tradeify's pages do not say where its floor stops rising.
Topstep's daily loss limit is optional and chosen at purchase ($1,000, $2,000 or $3,000); hitting it pauses trading until the next session rather than failing you. Tradeify's homepage cards show a $600 daily limit on most accounts, but the Select 150K page does not state one.
Consistency differs. Topstep's Combine wants your best day at or below 55% of the target; breaking it raises your effective target rather than failing you. Tradeify Select requires three days and a 40% evaluation rule, then has no consistency rule once funded. Topstep's Consistency payout path in the XFA uses 40%; its Standard path uses winning days instead. Our consistency rules guide explains the maths.
Worked example: what the limits mean on 150K
Best-day caps. On Topstep 150K, 55% of the $9,000 target is $4,950, so a single day above that raises your target. On Tradeify Select, read as a best-day share, 40% of $9,000 profit is $3,600.
A bad day. Suppose you are up $3,000 at $153,000; both floors sit at $148,500. The next morning you lose $3,200. On Topstep with the $3,000 daily limit, trading is flattened at $150,000 and you are paused with $1,500 of room left. On Tradeify, where no Select 150K daily limit is stated, the loss continues to $149,800, leaving $1,300 of room. The daily limit costs Topstep traders flexibility but caps a runaway day.
Cost to pass in two months. Topstep Standard 150K: 2 × $199 + $149 activation = $547. Tradeify: a single one-time fee, but the official 150K price ranged from $251 to a "per month" label on the pages we read.
A payout. Topstep XFA Standard allows up to 50% of the balance, capped at $5,000 on 150K; on a $6,000 balance that is $3,000, paid at 90% as $2,700. Tradeify Select Flex allows 50% of profit, capped at $5,000; on $6,000 profit that is also $3,000, or $2,700 after the split.
Payouts
Topstep's XFA has no fixed schedule: Standard qualifies after five winning days of $150 or more, Consistency after three traded days. Requests carry a $125 minimum and caps of $2,000 to $5,000 (Standard) or $3,000 to $6,000 (Consistency). Live accounts are uncapped and pay daily after 30 winning days. US methods include prop-to-brokerage (same day if requested by 12 pm CT), Aeropay (instant after approval) and ACH ($30), with Wise and wire internationally.
Tradeify Select Flex qualifies after five winning days; Select Daily lets you request daily above a buffer ($3,600 on 150K) with a daily cap the official pages give as both $2,500 and $1,250. Payouts go through Rise or Plane, usually within 24 hours in business hours. See the Topstep payout guide and Tradeify payout guide.
Platforms and US access
Topstep runs mainly on TopstepX, its in-house platform, which does not connect to TradingView. Tradeify supports Tradovate (with NinjaTrader), WealthCharts, Rithmic, Tradesea and ProjectX. Both accept US traders. Topstep publishes a detailed eligibility list; Tradeify's restricted-countries article would not open. Topstep requires positions closed by 3:10 pm CT.
Who each firm suits
Tradeify
Traders who want a one-time fee, a choice of platforms and a funded account with no consistency rule, and who will verify the price and activation fee at checkout.
Topstep
US traders who value documented rules, an optional daily limit that pauses rather than fails, and fast payout rails like Aeropay, and who accept a monthly fee and a single platform.
Which should you choose if…
- …you expect to take several months to pass: a one-time fee (Tradeify) avoids months of $199 rebills on 150K.
- …you expect to pass quickly: Topstep's $49 50K month plus $149 activation is cheap if you pass in one cycle.
- …you trade on TradingView or NinjaTrader: Tradeify, since Topstep centres on TopstepX.
- …you want the fastest US payout rail: Topstep's Aeropay and same-day prop-to-brokerage options.
Bottom line
Topstep scores 8.1/10 and Tradeify 7.0/10. Their 150K rules are close, so pick on pricing model and platform. Topstep wins on documentation; Tradeify wins on flexibility once funded.
