Prop firms whose payouts run weekly, daily or on demand after the first withdrawal, with each program's first-payout rule, ongoing frequency, split at that frequency and methods, plus the buffers, caps and consistency checks that apply.
This guide covers what is known about Apex Trader Funding payouts as of November 2026, and it comes with a warning up front: we could not verify Apex's current payout rules on its official site. Apex's help-center pages on Performance Accounts and payouts returned errors throughout our checks, and the homepage we could load appears to show older (legacy) terms without effective dates. Third-party trackers report that Apex replaced its evaluation and funded products on March 1, 2026 (often called Apex 4.0) and changed rules and fees again in May and October. Everything below is labelled by source. Confirm every term in your Apex dashboard before you request a payout.
Apex payout terms at a glance
| Term | Apex Trader Funding | Source |
|---|---|---|
| First payout | After 5 qualifying days with a minimum daily profit by size | Reported, unverified (third-party, August 2026) |
| Minimum request | $500 | Reported, unverified |
| Safety-net balance | Required before payouts (e.g. $52,100 on a 50K) | Reported, unverified |
| First payout cap | $1,000 to $2,500 by account size | Reported, unverified |
| Payout frequency | Up to 6 requests per Performance Account | Reported, unverified |
| Payout frequency (homepage) | Two payouts a month, no total cap | Official homepage, likely legacy |
| Max profit split | 100% of first $25,000 per account, 90% after | Official homepage, likely legacy |
| Consistency rule | 50%: largest day no more than half the profit used for the request | Reported, unverified |
| Apex Live accounts | Daily withdrawals from $500 (launched May 1, 2026) | Reported, unverified |
| Payout methods | Not verified | Not available on any page we could load |
| Processing time | Not verified | Not available on any page we could load |
| Fee refundable | No refund found | Official homepage |
"Reported, unverified" means the figure comes from third-party trackers (Prop Trading Vibes, August 2026, and the PipBack change log), not from an official Apex page we could read. "Likely legacy" means it appeared on Apex's homepage but may describe products Apex no longer sells.
When is the first payout?
According to third-party reporting, a Performance Account (Apex's funded stage) needs five qualifying days before the first request. A qualifying day requires a minimum daily profit that varies by account size; the trackers did not give a full table we could check. You also need to be above a safety-net balance, reported as $52,100 on a 50K account, which is $2,100 above the starting balance. The first payout is reportedly capped between $1,000 and $2,500 depending on size.
Remember that you must first pass an evaluation and, reportedly, pay an activation fee to open the Performance Account. The activation amount was not given in the sources we reviewed, and a May 27, 2026 change reportedly added a pricing option with no activation fee but a higher evaluation price.
How often can you withdraw?
Third parties report up to six payout requests per Performance Account. The homepage, which appears to show legacy terms, says two payouts a month with no total cap. Apex Live, a program reportedly launched on May 1, 2026, is described as allowing daily withdrawals from $500. We could not confirm how traders move from a Performance Account to Apex Live, or what happens after the sixth request.
We could not find Apex's payout methods or processing times on any page we could load. Many Trustpilot reviewers describe payouts arriving within days, and Apex holds a 4.2 TrustScore from 21,525 reviews. Some reviewers report denied payouts linked to identity-verification problems, so complete KYC early.
Profit split
The only split figure on an official Apex page is the homepage's 100% of the first $25,000 per account and 90% after that. Because the homepage appears to describe legacy products, we cannot confirm this split applies to accounts bought after March 1, 2026. Check the split shown in your dashboard or payout request screen before you plan around it.
Rules that affect your payout
- Consistency: a reported 50% test at payout time. Your largest profit day can be no more than half of the profit used for the request.
- Drawdown: you choose an intraday trailing or EOD evaluation. Intraday trailing follows open-profit peaks, so a reversing winner can tighten your floor before you ever request a payout. See static vs trailing drawdown.
- Daily loss limit: none on intraday evaluations; reportedly $500 to $2,000 on EOD evaluations.
- Close-out: per the homepage, all trades must be closed and orders cancelled by 4:59 PM Eastern, with no overnight or weekend holding.
- News: the homepage allows your normal system during news but bans news-specific strategies such as entering just before a release.
- Identity checks: expect KYC before payouts; the requirements were not available to us.
Worked example: a 50K Performance Account
This uses only the reported figures, so treat it as an illustration of how the rules interact, not a promise of how Apex will calculate your request.
You start a 50K Performance Account at $50,000. The reported safety net is $52,100. Over seven sessions you trade:
- Day 1: +$600 (balance $50,600)
- Day 2: +$900 ($51,500)
- Day 3: −$300 ($51,200)
- Day 4: +$700 ($51,900)
- Day 5: +$800 ($52,700)
- Day 6: +$500 ($53,200)
- Day 7: +$300 ($53,500)
Total profit is $600 + $900 − $300 + $700 + $800 + $500 + $300 = $3,500. If each winning day met the minimum daily profit for a 50K, you have six winning days, enough for the five qualifying days. Your balance is $53,500 − $52,100 = $1,400 above the safety net, which clears the $500 minimum.
Now the 50% test. Your largest day was $900. To pass, the profit used for the request must be at least $900 × 2 = $1,800. If Apex measures the request against the $1,400 above the safety net, $900 is 64% of it and the test fails; if it measures against total profit of $3,500, $900 is 26% and the test passes. The sources we reviewed do not say which, which is exactly why you should check the calculation in your dashboard.
If a $1,400 request were approved under the homepage's 100%-of-first-$25,000 split, you would receive $1,400. At 90% you would receive $1,260. A first-payout cap at the low end of the reported $1,000 to $2,500 range would reduce the request to $1,000.
Before you request a payout
- Screenshot the payout rules shown in your dashboard on the day you request, given how often Apex has changed terms in 2026.
- Check your distance from the drawdown floor with our drawdown calculator; a withdrawal lowers your balance but not necessarily your floor.
- Estimate take-home pay after the split with the profit calculator.
- Complete identity verification before your first request, and confirm the payout method and any fees with Apex support in writing.
- Read our general explainer on how prop firm payouts work and what to do after your first payout.
