Prop firms whose payouts run weekly, daily or on demand after the first withdrawal, with each program's first-payout rule, ongoing frequency, split at that frequency and methods, plus the buffers, caps and consistency checks that apply.
Short answer: Topstep and Alpha Futures are the simplest choices if you want end-of-day (EOD) drawdown everywhere: Alpha uses an EOD trailing limit on every plan, Topstep uses one in both its Combine and Express Funded Account, and both stop trailing at the account's starting balance. My Funded Futures, the top-rated futures firm we review, offers EOD on Builder, Rapid EOD and Pro, but not on its Rapid plan. Lucid Trading's LucidFlex is the other strong EOD option, with a published lock level just above the starting balance.
How we built this list
We included a futures firm if its FundedTime review, checked against official pages in November 2026, states that at least one plan uses an EOD drawdown. Firms are ordered by FundedTime score, which follows our published methodology. Because coverage varies, the table shows exactly which stages are EOD: some firms switch to intraday drawdown once you are funded, which matters as much as the evaluation rule. No firm paid to be included.
Apex Trader Funding is listed but marked not verified: third-party reports describe an EOD evaluation option, but we could not confirm current rules on Apex's site. No forex firm is included; this page covers futures only.

Worked example: EOD vs intraday on a 50K
Take a 50K account with a $2,000 trailing drawdown, so the floor starts at $48,000. During the session, a long trade runs to $1,500 of open profit, then reverses, and you close it for +$200. Balance: $50,200.
- Intraday trailing (MFFU Rapid, TPT PRO, TradeDay Quick Pay funded): the floor followed your peak equity of $51,500 and is now $49,500. You have $700 of room left.
- EOD trailing: the floor ignores the intraday peak and updates at the close from the $50,200 balance, to $48,200. You still have $2,000 of room.
EOD does not mean losses are ignored during the day. Topstep and Alpha Futures both monitor the limit in real time, so if open losses touch the floor, the account is liquidated. Our static vs trailing drawdown guide and drawdown calculator go further.
The firms in detail
My Funded Futures (8.4/10)
Builder, Rapid EOD and Pro trail the highest end-of-day balance; Rapid trails intraday. The drawdown is $1,000, $2,000, $3,000 or $4,500 by size. Once the buffer is built (for example $2,100 on 50K), the floor locks at the starting balance plus $100; Pro says this happens after the first approved payout, and the Rapid page is inconsistent. Only Builder has a daily loss limit, and it is a soft pause. See the My Funded Futures review.
Topstep (8.1/10)
The maximum loss limit is $2,000, $3,000 or $4,500. It trails the end-of-day balance upward, never moves down, and is monitored in real time, so realized and unrealized losses both count. In the Combine it stops trailing at the starting balance. In the XFA, which starts at $0, the limit begins at −$2,000 on 50K and locks at $0 once the balance reaches $2,000. An optional daily loss limit can be added at purchase. See the Topstep review.
Alpha Futures (8.0/10)
Every Alpha plan uses an EOD trailing maximum loss limit from your highest end-of-day balance. It never moves down and stops at the account's starting balance, but breaches are checked continuously against floating equity. Advanced has a tighter drawdown ($1,750 on 50K) with a higher target. A soft daily loss guard applies to Zero evaluations and to qualified Zero and Standard accounts. See the Alpha Futures review.
Take Profit Trader (7.9/10)
The Test uses an EOD trailing drawdown that follows your highest closing balance. PRO accounts switch to intraday trailing, which follows the highest equity during the session. New PRO+ accounts, offered after review, use EOD again. Dollar amounts per size and any lock level are not published on the official pages we could reach. See the Take Profit Trader review.
TradeDay (7.7/10)
Fast Pass uses EOD in the evaluation and funded sim. Quick Pay lets you choose EOD or intraday for the evaluation, but Quick Pay funded sim accounts always use intraday trailing, calculated on gross profit, so the floor keeps trailing after payouts. Both live programs use EOD. Drawdowns run from $1,000 to $4,500. There is no daily loss limit. See the TradeDay review.
Bulenox (7.6/10)
At Bulenox you pick trailing or EOD at purchase, and the choice is locked for the account's life. The EOD option moves once a day based on realised profit and comes with a daily loss limit and smaller size. Drawdowns are $1,000 to $4,500 on Momentum and $1,000 to $5,500 on Fast Track; Fast Track's floor fixes at the starting balance plus $100. Evaluations expire after 30 days. See the Bulenox review.
Lucid Trading (7.4/10)
LucidFlex uses an EOD trailing limit. Once the balance passes the initial trail balance ($52,100 on 50K), the limit locks at $50,100 and stops moving. LucidFlex funded accounts have no buffer and no consistency rule. LucidDaily offers a choice of intraday or EOD. Lucid's prices could not be verified because its main site was unreachable. See the Lucid Trading review.
Earn2Trade (7.2/10)
The evaluation and LiveSim use an EOD drawdown ($1,500 on TCP25, $2,000 on GAU50). Live accounts switch to trailing, and the $200,000 Live account has a fixed floor at $194,000. Every account also has a hard daily loss limit, which some reviewers say is calculated on open P&L. See the Earn2Trade review.
Tradeify (7.0/10)
Tradeify uses an EOD trailing drawdown: $4,500 on the Select 150K evaluation and $1,000 on 25K accounts, with funded figures varying by path. The pages we read do not say where the floor stops rising, and official prices conflicted. See the Tradeify review.
Apex Trader Funding (6.2/10, not verified)
Third-party reports describe intraday and EOD evaluations, with EOD carrying a daily loss limit. We could not confirm current terms on Apex's site. See the Apex Trader Funding review.
What to check
- Funded stage. TPT PRO and TradeDay Quick Pay funded accounts are intraday even after an EOD evaluation.
- Lock level. MFFU, Topstep, Alpha Futures, Lucid and Bulenox Fast Track publish one; several firms do not.
- Price model. MFFU, Bulenox and Lucid sell one-time evaluations; Topstep, Alpha Futures, TradeDay and Earn2Trade bill monthly until you pass. Topstep's Standard path adds a $149 activation fee, while Alpha Futures, MFFU and TradeDay charge no activation fee.
- Daily loss limit. Bulenox's EOD option and Earn2Trade add one; Topstep's is optional.
Read prop firm drawdown explained before choosing, and confirm the rule for your plan on the firm's site. Most traders do not pass evaluations, and fees are at risk.

FAQ
What is end-of-day drawdown?
An EOD trailing drawdown moves the loss floor up only from your closing balance at the end of each session, so an open trade that runs up and reverses does not drag the floor higher. Some firms still check the floor against live equity during the day.
Which futures prop firms use EOD drawdown on every plan?
Alpha Futures uses EOD on every plan, and Topstep uses it in the Combine and Express Funded Account. My Funded Futures offers EOD on Builder, Rapid EOD and Pro but not Rapid.
Does EOD drawdown stay EOD once funded?
Not always. Take Profit Trader's PRO account and TradeDay's Quick Pay funded account switch to intraday trailing drawdown, and Earn2Trade's live accounts switch to trailing.
Where does EOD drawdown stop trailing?
At Topstep and Alpha Futures it stops at the starting balance. At Lucid's LucidFlex and Bulenox Fast Track it locks at the starting balance plus $100, and at MFFU at the starting balance plus $100 once the buffer is built.
Can I still be breached intraday with EOD drawdown?
Yes. Topstep and Alpha Futures monitor the limit in real time, so open losses that touch the floor liquidate the account.
