My Funded Futures vs Take Profit Trader

My Funded Futures vs Take Profit Trader: two firms built around frequent payouts. One-time vs monthly pricing, buffers, intraday vs EOD drawdown and a worked 50K withdrawal example.

November 5, 2026

7

My Funded Futures (MFFU) and Take Profit Trader both market themselves on frequent payouts. MFFU's Rapid plan pays daily at 90% and its Builder plan every 48 hours; Take Profit Trader lets PRO accounts withdraw every day, with no maximum, once they are above a buffer. Both need you to build that buffer first, and both use an intraday trailing drawdown on their fastest-paying funded account. The bigger differences are pricing model and documentation: MFFU charges a one-time fee and publishes plan rules, while Take Profit Trader bills the Test monthly and does not print its prices, targets or drawdown amounts on the official pages we could reach in November 2026.

FundedTime scores

My Funded Futures scores 8.4/10 and ranks first of the 10 futures firms we rate. Take Profit Trader scores 7.9/10 and ranks fourth. Scores follow our published methodology, including how much we could verify, and are not a guarantee of results.

Pricing and fees

MFFU sells Builder, Rapid, Rapid EOD and Pro as one-time payments with a $0 activation fee and no renewals. The homepage shows headline prices we believe are for 50K: $153, $209, $225 and $265, with promotional prices of $92, $125, $135 and $159. MFFU does not publish its reset fee, and evaluation fees are non-refundable.

Take Profit Trader bills the Test as a monthly subscription. Its official pages do not list the monthly price by size; third-party comparison sites put 50K at about $170 a month before discounts, which we could not confirm. Official figures: resets from $79, unlimited; a one-time $130 PRO activation fee, waived under the current NOFEE50 promotion; no monthly fee on PRO or PRO+; and a homepage claim that a failed Test costs at most $360. Refunds are possible only within 72 hours on an unused account, minus $75.

Rules and drawdown

MFFU's targets are $1,500, $3,000, $6,000 and $9,000 and its drawdowns $1,000, $2,000, $3,000 and $4,500. Take Profit Trader does not publish either on the pages we reached; secondary sources report 6% targets ($3,000 on 50K) and a $2,000 drawdown on 50K.

Drawdown types: MFFU's Builder, Rapid EOD and Pro trail end of day, and Rapid trails intraday. MFFU locks the floor at the starting balance plus $100 once the funded buffer is built. Take Profit Trader's Test trails end of day, PRO switches to intraday, and new PRO+ live accounts are EOD again. We could not confirm whether Take Profit Trader's floor ever locks.

Daily limits: only MFFU Builder has one ($600 to $2,500), and it is a soft pause. Take Profit Trader has no daily limit on the Test and we found none for PRO.

Consistency: MFFU's Rapid and Pro evaluations use 50%, Rapid EOD 30%, and Builder applies 50% to each funded payout cycle. Take Profit Trader's Test bars a day of 50% or more of the target, but breaking it only means you keep trading; PRO and PRO+ have none. Minimum days are 1 to 4 at MFFU depending on plan, and 3 at Take Profit Trader.

News and automation: MFFU's Rapid and Pro funded accounts must be flat 2 minutes either side of Tier 1 releases; Take Profit Trader restricts "specific major news events" on PRO and PRO+ without listing them. MFFU allows automation tailored to you but bans copying other traders and hedging; Take Profit Trader explicitly allows copy trading across up to five PRO accounts and does not address bots on the pages we read.

Worked example: withdrawing from a 50K funded account

Assume a 50K funded account at each firm. MFFU's buffer is $2,100, so the first request needs a balance of at least $52,100 plus the plan minimum. For Take Profit Trader we use the secondary-source $2,000 drawdown, so the PRO buffer level is $52,000.

  • Balance $52,800: MFFU Builder allows the $700 above its buffer level (above the $500 minimum), paid as $560 at 80%. MFFU Rapid also requires the buffer and a $500 minimum; assuming it pays out the same $700 above the buffer level, you would receive $630 at 90%. Take Profit Trader PRO allows the $800 above its buffer, paid as $640 at 80%.
  • Balance $55,000: MFFU Builder allows $2,900 above the buffer but caps the cycle at $2,000, paying $1,600. MFFU Rapid has no per-request cap in the policy we read, so on the same assumption $2,900 would pay $2,610. Take Profit Trader allows $3,000 with no maximum, paying $2,400.

On small balances the two are almost level; above that, Rapid's 90% split beats Take Profit Trader's 80%. Both firms pay less if you dip into the buffer: Take Profit Trader pays 50% and usually closes the account, while MFFU Pro allows up to 60% of profits to be withdrawn inside the buffer.

The intraday PRO and Rapid drawdowns cost room on reversing trades. If a trade shows $1,300 open profit before closing at +$900, the floor rises by $1,300, not $900. On MFFU's EOD plans the floor moves by $900. Check your own trades with the drawdown calculator.

Payouts

MFFU's payout policy (dated August 2026) allows Rapid requests 24 hours after the first funded trade once the buffer and $500 minimum are met, then daily at 90%. Builder pays every 48 hours with two qualifying days per cycle, minimums of $250 to $1,500, caps of $1,000 to $3,500 and five sim payouts before live review. Pro pays every 14 days at 80% with a $1,000 minimum. Payouts go through Riseworks (bank or crypto) or Plaid/ACH, and manual reviews take 6 to 12 business hours.

Take Profit Trader's PRO withdrawals are available from the first day and then daily, with no minimum profitable days, no windows and no maximum, once above the buffer. PRO+ pays 90% with no buffer. US traders are paid by Plaid real-time transfer or ACH, international traders by PayPal or Wise, usually within one business day. See the My Funded Futures payout guide and Take Profit Trader payout guide.

Platforms and US access

MFFU lists Tradovate, Quantower, DeepChart and Hyperprop. Take Profit Trader names more than 15 platforms, including NinjaTrader, TradingView, Tradovate, RTrader, Quantower and MotiveWave. Both accept US traders. MFFU publishes 89 restricted jurisdictions; Take Profit Trader did not publish a country list on the pages we reached. Take Profit Trader's FAQ allows up to five PRO accounts while its terms say three, so check before scaling.

Who each firm suits

My Funded Futures

Traders who want a one-time fee, published plan rules and a choice of payout rhythm, including EOD plans for those whose trades swing intraday.

Take Profit Trader

Traders who want to withdraw any day with no cap, use NinjaTrader or TradingView, and copy trades across their own accounts, and who can handle an intraday drawdown on PRO.

Which should you choose if…

  • You want daily payouts at the best split: MFFU Rapid at 90%.
  • You want no cap on withdrawals: Take Profit Trader PRO.
  • You want EOD drawdown once funded: MFFU Builder, Rapid EOD or Pro.
  • You trade on NinjaTrader: Take Profit Trader, since MFFU does not list it.
  • You want to know the price before you click buy: MFFU, which shows plan prices on its homepage.

Bottom line

MFFU scores 8.4/10 and ranks first of the futures firms we rate; Take Profit Trader scores 7.9/10 and ranks fourth. Both pay quickly. MFFU's one-time pricing, published rules and EOD options give it the edge; Take Profit Trader's uncapped daily withdrawals and platform list are its strengths.
