Cons

  • Trustpilot withholds its rating for a guideline breach and says it removed fake reviews
  • Payouts in USDT crypto only; split starts at 70% on the first payout
  • EAs require a paid add-on; consistency rule on all funded accounts; company details are self-declared (Clarity Traders LLC, Dover, Delaware) and not independently verified
  • Payouts can be denied for rule breaches, such as trades closed in under 60 seconds (the firm requires every trade to stay open at least 60 seconds); some traders report this, so read the rules before trading

Clarity Traders review: our verdict

Clarity Traders is a forex and CFD prop firm operated by Clarity Traders LLC, which gives a registered address in Dover, Delaware. It offers Instant, One Step and Two Step accounts from $5,000 to $200,000 on TradeLocker and MT5. It suits traders who want low entry prices, no time limit and no minimum days to pass an evaluation, and who are comfortable being paid in USDT. It is a weaker fit for anyone who needs bank payouts, runs EAs without paying for an add-on, or scalps very short trades, since every trade must stay open at least 60 seconds.

The main trade-offs are a profit split that starts at 70% and rises over three payouts, consistency rules on every funded account, crypto-only payouts, and a Trustpilot rating that is currently withheld. Clarity Traders holds a FundedTime score of 6.6/10 and ranks 8th of the 11 forex and CFD firms we track. Our methodology explains how scores and ranks are calculated.

Programs and pricing

Clarity Traders sells three account types, each from $5,000 to $200,000 in simulated capital:

  • Two Step: two evaluation phases with targets of 8% and 5%, from $55.
  • One Step: one phase with a 10% target, from $59.
  • Instant: no evaluation, funded from the start, from $95.

The official Instant page lists these prices in US dollars before any discount:

Instant accountPriceMax loss (trailing)
$5,000$95$250
$10,000$139$500
$25,000$279$1,250
$50,000$415$2,500
$100,000$789$5,000
$200,000$1,499$10,000

The site publishes only "from" prices for One Step and Two Step, so we cannot list every size. The Instant page also shows a separate "Instant Pro" tier, but its figures look inconsistent, so we have not relied on them. The site frequently runs percentage discounts, so check the checkout price.

Fees are one-time and are not refunded by default. Paid add-ons include:

  • a Refund Guarantee, which returns the full challenge fee after your first successful payout
  • Express Payouts, which cut the payout interval from 14 days to 7
  • 100% Rewards
  • EA's Allowed
  • Double Leverage
  • Trade on Weekends

Add-on prices are not published on the FAQ, and we did not find a reset option.

Trading rules explained

Profit targets

Two Step requires 8% in Phase 1 and 5% in Phase 2. One Step requires 10%. Instant accounts have no target. There is no time limit and no minimum number of days to pass an evaluation, so in principle you could pass in one session.

Daily loss limit

The daily limit is 3% on Instant, 4% on One Step and 5% on Two Step (for example, $400 on a $10,000 One Step account). Clarity's FAQ does not say whether it is measured from balance or equity, or what time it resets. Until the firm publishes this, assume it is checked against live equity.

Maximum drawdown

The overall limit is 5% on Instant, 6% on One Step during the evaluation and 8% on Two Step during the evaluation. Once funded, One Step and Two Step accounts move to a 10% limit. The FAQ says the account closes if equity falls below the limit at any time.

The Instant page describes its 5% limit as trailing, rising as equity reaches new highs. The FAQ does not say whether the evaluation and funded limits are static or trailing, or whether the Instant limit ever locks. We could not verify these points.

Minimum trading days

No minimum to pass. Every funded account, including Instant, needs at least 7 trading days before a payout request.

Consistency rules

Funded accounts have a consistency rule measured against the amount you ask to withdraw. On Instant accounts, no single day's profit can exceed 10% of the requested payout. On funded One Step and Two Step accounts the limit is 20%. For example, on a $1,000 request, no day can contribute more than $200. Evaluations have no consistency rule.

News trading

High-impact news trading is permitted on all accounts. The FAQ notes that you carry the risk of slippage and volatility.

EAs, HFT and minimum trade duration

EAs, trading systems and bots are allowed only if you buy the EA's Allowed add-on, and they must follow the trading policies. HFT and latency arbitrage are banned. Every trade must stay open for at least 60 seconds, and breaking this can lead to restrictions or denied payouts. Strategies that exploit delays, pricing errors or platform weaknesses are prohibited. The FAQ does not address hedging or copy trading.

Weekend holding and inactivity

The FAQ says positions can be held through the Friday close until markets reopen. However, it also sells a Trade on Weekends add-on for positions during weekends and extended sessions, so confirm with support which applies to your account. Accounts with no trade for 60 days may be closed.

Worked example

Take a $100,000 Two Step account:

  • Daily limit: 5%, or $5,000.
  • Evaluation maximum loss: 8%, so a floor of $92,000.
  • Phase 1 target: 8%, so a balance of $108,000.
  1. Day 1: you gain $3,000. Balance $103,000.
  2. Day 2: you lose $2,000. Balance $101,000. That is well inside the $5,000 daily limit and the $92,000 floor.
  3. Day 3: you gain $4,200. Balance $105,200.
  4. Day 4: you gain $2,900. Balance $108,100. Phase 1 is passed. There is no minimum-day requirement, and every trade was held for more than 60 seconds.

Phase 2 needs 5% ($105,000). Once funded, the maximum loss widens to 10%, putting the floor at $90,000, and the 20% consistency rule applies. Suppose your first seven trading days produce +$950, +$800, +$900, -$400, +$950, +$850 and +$950. That is $5,000 net. If you request the full $5,000, no day may exceed $1,000 (20%), and your best day was $950, so the request qualifies. At the 70% first-payout split you would receive $3,500 in USDT. Had one day been $1,400, you would need a smaller request or more trading days before qualifying.

Payouts

You become eligible after 7 trading days on the funded account and a completed ID check. Payouts can then be requested from the dashboard every 14 days, or every 7 days with Express Payouts. The split is 70% on the first payout, 80% on the second and 90% from the third onward, or 100% with the 100% Rewards add-on.

Each request is reviewed for rule compliance before approval, with particular attention to the 60-second rule and HFT. Approved rewards are paid in Tether (USDT, ERC-20) to your wallet. The FAQ does not publish a minimum payout amount or a processing time. Our Clarity Traders payout guide walks through the process.

Platforms and instruments

Clarity Traders offers TradeLocker and MetaTrader 5. The FAQ does not publish a full instrument list or leverage table, beyond the paid Double Leverage add-on. Secondary listings mention forex, indices, commodities, crypto and stocks, but we could not confirm the instrument list on the official site. The homepage's summary table also differs from the FAQ in places, for example on payout frequency, so we relied on the FAQ.

Who can join

KYC is required on every funded account, including Instant, before the first payout. The official site does not publish a restricted-country list or say whether US residents are accepted, so we could not verify eligibility by country. Ask support before you buy if you live in the US or a sanctioned jurisdiction. Because payouts are crypto-only, you also need a wallet that accepts USDT on Ethereum.

Reputation and trader feedback

When we checked in November 2026, Trustpilot listed between 316 and 334 reviews for claritytraders.com, depending on the regional Trustpilot site, and showed no TrustScore. Its notice reads "This company's rating is unavailable due to a breach of our guidelines", and it states that it removed a number of fake reviews for the company.

Some reviewers praise the platform's ease of use, low prices, smooth payouts and helpful support. Others report payouts denied or accounts breached over trades closed within about 60 seconds, and say the rules are hard to follow. Some mention technical issues with trades logging on the dashboard. These are individual, unverified reports, but they point to the 60-second rule as the main thing to understand before trading.

Alternatives to Clarity Traders

  • FTMO: a longer track record, a static maximum loss and payouts by bank transfer.
  • FundedNext: a wider platform choice and several challenge types.
  • Goat Funded Trader: also offers instant accounts, plus more payout methods.
  • Maven Trading: another low-cost entry point with MT5 and Match-Trader.

How we verified this review

We checked this review in November 2026. Rules, payout terms, add-ons, platforms and company details come from Clarity Traders' official FAQ and homepage footer. Instant prices and drawdown type come from the official Instant page, and review data from Trustpilot.

We could not verify the following: how the daily limit is measured and when it resets; whether evaluation and funded drawdowns are static or trailing; full One Step and Two Step price tables; add-on prices; minimum payout and processing time; restricted countries and US eligibility; and the instrument list. The firm's self-described US entity has not been independently verified. Prop trading is high risk: most traders fail evaluations, and fees can be lost. Nothing here is financial advice.
