FundingPips review: our verdict

FundingPips suits cost-conscious forex and CFD traders who want low entry prices and a choice of reward cycles, from weekly payouts at a lower split to on-demand payouts at 100%. Its five models range from a conventional 2 Step Standard to a tight-risk 2 Step Pro, a wide-drawdown 2 Step Flex, a single-phase 1 Step Flex and an evaluation-free Zero account. The trade-offs: funded Master accounts on most models auto-close positions overnight and at weekends unless you buy a Swing add-on, news profits on funded accounts can be deducted, EAs are limited to trade-management tools unless you can prove you wrote them, and only the 2 Step Standard fee is refunded (at the fourth reward).

FundingPips scores 7.4/10 in FundedTime's ratings and currently ranks fourth of the firms we track. It scores well for price and payout flexibility and loses points for its many conditional rules and frequent rule changes. See how we score firms.

FundingPips Zero is an instant Master account from $5k to $200k with a 95% bi-weekly split; we could not load its price page. All fees are one-time, with no monthly or activation charge.

Resets: if an account is breached, including for inactivity, a discounted reset appears on the dashboard for 7 calendar days: 12% off Phase 1, 10% off Phase 2 and 7% off a Master account (2 Step Standard figures). A Phase 2 or Master reset restarts from Phase 1. Refund: the registration fee is refunded at the fourth reward on a 2 Step Standard Master account only; it is not refunded on 1 Step Flex, 2 Step Pro, 2 Step Flex or Zero. FundingPips' site disclaimer otherwise describes fees as non-refundable.

Trading rules explained

Profit targets

2 Step Standard: 8% then 5% (the 10% Phase 1 option was withdrawn on 24 July 2026). 2 Step Pro: 6% in both phases. 2 Step Flex: 10% then 8%. 1 Step Flex: 12% in one phase. Targets must be hit with all trades closed. There is no time limit on any phase.

Daily loss limit

The daily limit is a percentage of the higher of that day's opening balance or opening equity, and equity cannot fall more than that amount at any point, including floating losses. It is 5% on 2 Step Standard (3% with an add-on), 3% on 2 Step Pro, 4% on 2 Step Flex, 2% or 3% on 1 Step Flex and 3% on Zero. It resets at 00:00 platform time, which is 21:00 UTC in summer and 22:00 UTC in winter.

Maximum loss

The maximum loss is static from the starting account size: 10% on 2 Step Standard, 6% on 2 Step Pro and 12% on 2 Step Flex and 1 Step Flex. Touching it even briefly ends the account. Zero instead uses a 5% trailing limit that follows the highest recorded equity. See our static vs trailing drawdown guide.

Minimum days

2 Step Standard requires 3 trading days per phase (none if you choose the 3% daily-loss add-on). 2 Step Pro has no minimum for new accounts. 2 Step Flex requires 1 trading day per phase on the 80% split or 3 profitable days on the 95% split. 1 Step Flex has no minimum.

Consistency rules

Evaluations have no consistency rule. On 2 Step Standard Master accounts, the On Demand 100% reward requires a 35% consistency score (no single day above 35% of total profit) and at least 7 profitable days of 0.5% or more; weekly and bi-weekly cycles are exempt. Zero requires 7 profitable days per 30-day period. Our consistency rules explainer covers how these scores work.

News trading

There are no news restrictions during evaluations, although deliberately "trading the news" is prohibited. On Master accounts, profits from trades opened or closed within 5 minutes of restricted high-impact news or speeches on the affected currency may be deducted. Trades opened 5 hours or more before the event are exempt. News trading is prohibited on Zero.

EAs, copy trading and hedging

Third-party EAs are allowed only as trade or risk managers. Fully automated EAs are permitted only if you wrote them and can prove ownership, for example with source code. Copy trading between different users' accounts, hedging, latency arbitrage, high-frequency trading, tick scalping and opposite-account trading are prohibited. FundingPips also runs a "Striking System" on On Demand Master accounts that flags any trade idea losing 1% of the account, cutting the split after repeated warnings.

Weekend and overnight holding

Overnight and weekend holding is always allowed in evaluations. On Master accounts, open trades are closed automatically each day in a 15-minute window unless you have the Swing add-on. An automatic close is not a breach.

Inactivity

An account is breached if no trade is completed in 30 consecutive calendar days. Open trades do not count until closed.

Worked example

Take a $100,000 2 Step Standard account in Phase 1 with the 5% daily limit. The target is 8%, so the balance must reach $108,000 with trades closed. The static floor is $90,000. Three trading days are required.

  1. Day 1: opening balance and equity $100,000, so the daily floor is $95,000. +$2,500. Balance $102,500.
  2. Day 2: baseline $102,500; 5% is $5,125, so equity cannot drop to $97,375. A $1,500 loss leaves $101,000. Safe.
  3. Day 3: +$4,000. Balance $105,000.
  4. Day 4: +$3,200. Balance $108,200.

Phase 1 passes on Day 4 with more than the 3 required days. If on some day the account opens with $105,000 balance but $107,000 equity from an open winner, the baseline is $107,000 and the floor is $101,650, so giving back open profit can breach the limit. Once funded, a bi-weekly 80% cycle with $5,000 of profit pays $4,000; the minimum request is 1% of the account ($1,000 here, before the split). Run your own numbers in our drawdown calculator.

Payouts

Master accounts choose a reward cycle once funded. On 2 Step Standard: Weekly at a 60% split, first available 7 days after the first Master trade; Bi-Weekly at 80%, every 14 calendar days; or On Demand at 100%, subject to the 35% consistency score and 7 profitable days. 2 Step Pro offers weekly 80% or on-demand 100%; 2 Step Flex offers bi-weekly 80% (or 95% on the profitable-day version) or on-demand 100%; 1 Step Flex offers bi-weekly 80% or on-demand 100%; Zero pays 95% bi-weekly. Once a cycle completes, the reward can be requested on any working day.

Before requesting, all trades and pending orders must be closed and at least 15 minutes must pass. Methods are card (Visa or Mastercard, selected regions), crypto (USDT or USDC on ERC20), Rise ($500 minimum, KYC required) and bank transfer ($500 minimum, selected regions). Requests are processed within 1 to 3 working days, plus 1 to 2 days to arrive. Rewards can also be used to buy a new challenge. Platforms and instruments

FundingPips supports MetaTrader 5, cTrader and Match-Trader. Its instrument list covers 41 symbols: 28 forex pairs, gold and silver, seven cash indices, Brent and WTI oil, and Bitcoin and Ethereum. Standard leverage is 1:100 on forex, 1:30 on metals, 1:10 on energies, 1:20 on indices and 1:2 on crypto (1:1 on Master accounts), lower on Swing and swap-free accounts. Since March 2026 a temporary dynamic-leverage scale applies to metals, energies and indices on Master accounts. A 20-lot limit per trade applies, with 1 lot for crypto.

Who can join

Traders must be 18 or older, and their name must match a government-issued ID. FundingPips' help center says it does not accept residents of Iran, Vietnam or the UAE, and its site disclaimer adds countries on FATF and EU or UN sanctions lists. The US is not on the published restricted list, but we did not find US-specific terms, so US traders should confirm eligibility before buying. KYC and a Responsible Trading Team review are part of Master onboarding. Simulated services are provided by FundingPips Corp, registered in the Comoros Union, with a listed address in IFZA Business Park, Dubai.

Reputation and trader feedback

In November 2026 FundingPips had a Trustpilot rating of 4.5 out of 5 from 71,489 reviews, with 82% five-star and 8% one-star ratings. FundingPips' own product page displayed a different, higher figure, so we rely on the Trustpilot profile itself. Reviewers commonly praise fast payouts, clear rules and quick funding. Some reviewers report sudden account closures, restricted access during disputes and rule changes after passing. Trustpilot reports the company replies to nearly all negative reviews.

FundingPips changes rules often: in 2026 alone it dropped the 10% Phase 1 option on 2 Step Standard, changed minimum trading days on 2 Step Pro and Flex for accounts bought after 26 August 2026 and introduced temporary dynamic leverage. Existing accounts sometimes keep older rules.

Alternatives to FundingPips

  • FundedNext: a refundable 2-Step fee and four platforms including MT4.
  • FTMO: a longer track record and fewer conditions on the reward share.
  • The5ers: unlimited time and scaling to a 100% split.
  • Maven Trading: even lower entry prices on small accounts.

How we verified this review

Checked November 2026. Unlike our previous check, FundingPips' official site and help center were readable this time. We reviewed the 2 Step Standard, 2 Step Pro, 2 Step Flex and 1 Step Flex product pages, help-center articles for each model, the Get Started, Reward Methods, News Trading and Weekend Holding, and Trading Conduct articles, the site disclaimer and FundingPips' Trustpilot profile.

We could not load the Zero price page, and we did not find US-specific eligibility terms or a published founding date. Most traders do not pass evaluations, and fees are at risk. This review is not financial advice.
