Prop firms whose payouts run weekly, daily or on demand after the first withdrawal, with each program's first-payout rule, ongoing frequency, split at that frequency and methods, plus the buffers, caps and consistency checks that apply.
Short answer: FTMO is the best-rated firm in our reviews that offers cTrader, with a static 10% maximum loss on its 2-Step and a fee refunded with the first reward. The5ers and FundedNext also offer cTrader, followed by FundingPips, Alpha Capital Group and Goat Funded Trader. The catch for US traders is consistent: every one of these firms either excludes new US clients from cTrader or does not publish US terms for it.
How we built this list
We included a firm only if its FundedTime review, checked against official pages in November 2026, lists cTrader as a supported platform. Firms are ordered by FundedTime score, which follows our published methodology. Score reflects the whole firm, not the quality of its cTrader set-up. No firm paid to be included.
Not verified: E8 Markets. Secondary sources list cTrader, MT5, TradeLocker and Match-Trader, but our review could not confirm the platform list on E8's own site. Left out: Maven Trading (MT5 and Match-Trader), Blue Guardian (MT5, Match-Trader and TradeLocker) and Funded Trading Plus (MT5 and Match-Trader). None of the futures firms we review offers cTrader; it is a forex and CFD platform here.

The firms in detail
FTMO (8.8/10)
FTMO supports MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader and TradingView, and the platform can be changed only before any trade is placed on an account. Its 2-Step Challenge uses a 5% daily limit and a static 10% maximum loss, needs 10% then 5%, has no time limit, and refunds the fee with the first reward. The 1-Step uses a tighter 3% daily limit, an end-of-day trailing maximum loss and a 50% consistency rule for orders from 12 October 2026. FTMO's FAQ allows expert advisors, subject to its server limits on orders and positions. US clients on ftmo.oanda.com are offered TradingView or MT5, not cTrader. See the FTMO review.
The5ers (8.4/10)
Non-US traders at The5ers can choose MT5, cTrader or TradingView, with a $10 surcharge for cTrader on top of the program price. cTrader is no longer offered to new US accounts, and the platform cannot be changed after purchase. High Stakes lists a 5% daily loss and 10% maximum loss, unlimited time and three profitable days per step. The split starts at 80% and can reach 100% through scaling, and 70% of the fee is refunded with the first funded payout. See the The5ers review.
FundedNext (8.2/10)
FundedNext supports MT4, MT5, cTrader and Match-Trader. Two cTrader-specific limits are in our review: resets are not available on $100k and $200k cTrader accounts, and EAs only work on MT4 and MT5, so cTrader users must trade manually. New cTrader purchases for US clients ended on 31 March 2026, and US clients now use Match-Trader only. The Stellar 2-Step has a static 10% maximum loss, clear USD prices ($549.99 for $100k) and a fee refunded with the first reward. Leverage is 1:30 on forex, lower than firms offering 1:100. See the FundedNext review.
FundingPips (7.4/10)
FundingPips supports MetaTrader 5, cTrader and Match-Trader across 41 symbols. Its models range from the 2 Step Standard ($652 for $100k, 8% then 5%, 5% daily, 10% static maximum loss) to the tighter 2 Step Pro. Funded Master accounts choose a reward cycle: weekly at 60%, bi-weekly at 80% or on demand at 100% on the 2 Step Standard, with conditions. Most Master accounts auto-close trades daily unless you buy a Swing add-on. The US is not on the published restricted list, but we did not find US-specific terms. See the FundingPips review.
Alpha Capital Group (7.0/10)
Alpha offers MT5, cTrader, DXtrade and TradeLocker. New US customers cannot currently sign up for cTrader, though existing US cTrader users can keep trading. EAs are allowed only on MT5 and only for trade management, so they are not available on cTrader. Alpha Pro uses a static maximum drawdown of 6%, 8% or 10%, and the main plans imply an 80% split. Alpha's help center states that all evaluation plans are non-refundable, and funded Alpha Pro accounts cannot hold over the weekend. See the Alpha Capital Group review.
Goat Funded Trader (6.2/10)
GFT offers cTrader, TradeLocker, Match-Trader, Volumetrica and MT5, with raw spreads and $5 per lot commission on forex and metals. MT5 and cTrader are not available to clients located in the USA. The 2 Step GOAT model uses a static 10% maximum loss and has no consistency rule, but funded accounts carry a $3,000 daily profit cap, capped first payouts and a 3% processing fee on every reward. Evaluation prices could not be verified on the official site. See the Goat Funded Trader review.
Worked example: the same $100k on three cTrader firms
Using only figures from our reviews, here is where the loss limits sit on a $100,000 two-step account at the three highest-rated cTrader firms:
- FTMO 2-Step: 5% daily limit ($5,000 below each day's opening balance) and a static floor at $90,000.
- FundedNext Stellar 2-Step: 5% daily limit fixed on the initial balance ($5,000) and a static floor at $90,000.
- The5ers High Stakes: 5% daily limit ($5,000) and a 10% maximum loss ($90,000 floor); the review notes the page does not label it static or trailing.
The headline limits match, so the differences that decide the choice are elsewhere: FTMO refunds 100% of the fee with the first reward, FundedNext publishes clear per-size USD prices, and The5ers offers a path to a 100% split but adds $10 for cTrader. Try your own numbers in the drawdown calculator.
What to check before you buy
- Where you live. If you are in the US, none of these firms currently sells new cTrader accounts to you, based on our reviews, or it does not publish US terms.
- Automation. FundedNext and Alpha Capital Group limit EAs to MetaTrader. If you rely on cTrader automation, check the EA rule for cTrader specifically.
- Surcharges and resets. The5ers adds $10 for cTrader; FundedNext has no resets on large cTrader accounts.
- Leverage. FundedNext's Stellar 2-Step uses 1:30 on forex, while FTMO Standard accounts, The5ers High Stakes, FundingPips and Alpha Pro list 1:100 on forex, and GFT 1:100 in evaluation and 1:50 once funded. Lower leverage means smaller positions for the same margin.
- Weekend holding once funded. FTMO Standard funded accounts must close before weekends (Swing is exempt), Alpha Pro funded accounts cannot hold over the weekend, and most FundingPips Master accounts auto-close trades daily without the Swing add-on. FundedNext allows weekend holding at every stage.
- Platform lock. FTMO lets you change platform only before trading; The5ers not after purchase.
If cTrader is not essential, our best MT5 prop firms list covers more firms. Confirm platform access on the firm's site before you buy, and use the comparison tool for the rest. Most traders do not pass evaluations, and fees are at risk.
