Best MT5 prop firms

Prop firms whose verified platform list includes MT5, ranked by FundedTime score, with split, drawdown type and US platform notes.

November 3, 2026

3

MetaTrader 5 (MT5) is the most widely offered platform among the forex firms we track. This list shows which firms in our data offer it, ranked by score, with the details that matter once you are trading.

Featured partner: Clarity Traders is a FundedTime partner, and we may earn a commission if you sign up through our links. Its score uses the same method as every other firm.

How we built this list

We filtered our firm data for platforms that include MT5. Two firms whose platform data comes only from third-party reports are left out because we could not confirm it on official pages. Platform access can differ by country and by program, so the US note is shown where our data has one.

Qualifying firms are ranked by their FundedTime score, which follows our published methodology. No firm paid to be included, and inclusion is not a recommendation to buy.

The list

  1. FTMO (Forex/CFD, 8.8/10, verified). Platforms: MT4, MT5, cTrader, TradingView (via OANDA). Max profit split: Up to 90%. Drawdown type: Varies by program. TradingView access is via OANDA, and US traders use a separate OANDA-affiliated entity. See our FTMO review.
  2. The5ers (Forex/CFD, 8.4/10, verified). Platforms: MT5, cTrader, TradingView. Max profit split: Up to 100%. Drawdown type: Not verified. US clients are accepted via TradingView. See our The5ers review.
  3. FundedNext (Forex/CFD, 8.2/10, verified). Platforms: MT4, MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader. Max profit split: Up to 95%. Drawdown type: Static. US traders get Match-Trader only, with no EAs. See our FundedNext review.
  4. Maven Trading (Forex/CFD, 7.2/10, verified). Platforms: MT5, Match-Trader (US/Canada). Max profit split: Up to 90%. Drawdown type: Varies by program. Match-Trader is listed for US/Canada traders. See our Maven Trading review.
  5. Alpha Capital Group (Forex/CFD, 7.0/10, verified). Platforms: MT5, cTrader, DXtrade, TradeLocker. Max profit split: Up to 80%. Drawdown type: Varies by program. US traders are accepted on DXtrade and TradeLocker. See our Alpha Capital Group review.
  6. Blue Guardian (Forex/CFD, 7.0/10, verified). Platforms: MT5, Match-Trader, TradeLocker. Max profit split: Up to 90%. Drawdown type: Varies by program. US clients are accepted on Match-Trader and TradeLocker. See our Blue Guardian review.
  7. Clarity Traders (Forex/CFD, 6.6/10, partially verified). Platforms: TradeLocker, MT5. Max profit split: Up to 100%. Drawdown type: Not verified. See our Clarity Traders review.
  8. Goat Funded Trader (Forex/CFD, 6.2/10, partially verified). Platforms: MT5, TradeLocker, Match-Trader, cTrader, Volumetric. Max profit split: Up to 100%. Drawdown type: Static. MT5 is not available to US residents. See our Goat Funded Trader review.
  9. Funded Trading Plus (Forex/CFD, 6.0/10, partially verified). Platforms: MT4, MT5, TradingView. Max profit split: Up to 90%. Drawdown type: Varies by program. See our Funded Trading Plus review.

Before you choose

A platform being listed does not mean it is available on every program or in every country. Confirm that MT5 is offered for the exact account you plan to buy, and check whether the firm charges extra for it.

Rules change often. Verify every rule and price on the firm's official site before you buy. Use the comparison tool to check other fields, browse all prop firm reviews, and check promo codes before you pay.

Prop firm trading involves the risk of losing your evaluation fee. Nothing here is financial advice.
